Principal: Dr. Desiree Rios
It is a great honor to serve as the principal of Tiffany Ridge. Education and learning has been an essential part of my entire life. Coming from a family of educators, marrying an educator and having a daughter in the profession has aided in my passion to create the high levels of educational experiences for all children.
Prior to joining the Park Hill School District in 2018, I served in the Blue Valley School District for over 30 years as a teacher, school improvement specialist, coordinating teacher, instructional coach, and principal. My husband, Joel is a high school physics teacher and we have three grown children. I enjoy traveling, reading, gardening and spending time with my family. Please feel free to contact me if you ever have questions or concerns. Always remember, it’s a great day to be a Timberwolf!
Dr. Desiree Rios joined Tiffany Ridge Elementary in 2018.
Assistant Principal: Dr. Laura Coughlin
I am excited to join the Tiffany Ridge team. I am returning to Park Hill from Hosea Elementary School in St. Joseph, MO, where I served as assistant principal. I have also previously worked as both an instructional coach and classroom teacher. I have my Masters degree in Instructional Technology and both my Specialist degree and Doctorate degree in School Leadership.
My husband Zac teaches math at Lakeview Middle School and we have a high school aged son and a middle school aged daughter who both attend school in the district. I am passionate about seeing the strengths in all students and helping them discover those strengths in themselves. In my free time I enjoy cooking, crochet, and watching my children compete in sports and perform in band and choir. Make it a great day!
